Sundrops

Sunflowers share the vase with red roses in this bouquet, gathered with solidago in a simple glass vase, a bouquet that says I love you without needing red alone to prove it. It pairs classic red with a warmer, sunnier color most all-rose arrangements skip entirely.

It works for a special someone, sure, but sunflowers read just as well as a thank-you, a pick-me-up, or a small thing to send a coworker at the office. Red and yellow together feel like a loved one picked it out personally and a little less like a box of chocolates.

Our designers have paired sunflowers with red roses since the shop opened in 1903, though the combination gets busiest every February when timing matters most. Order before 2 PM in the recipient's time zone, or noon on Sundays, and most areas qualify for same-day delivery, with our nationwide network covering the rest. The same red-and-yellow color story carries through every size we offer.
