When to ship what to Eclectic

Baskets travel by parcel and can wait on a step for an afternoon, so the month decides the contents. Thirty-year averages for Eclectic, month by month, with the ones that matter marked.

  12. Dec 57°37°

October in Eclectic: afternoons around 74°F, nights around 53°F. Nothing in the forecast averages argues against a doorstep delivery; any basket in the catalog travels well.

Heat (June, July and August). Afternoons average 85°F or more, peaking near 89°F in July. Send chocolate, cheese and fresh fruit to a workplace or a front desk in these months; baked goods, nuts, coffee, tea and spa baskets can take a doorstep drop.

Wettest months (March and February). Around 5.9 and 5.8 inches of rain on average. Boxes are sealed, not waterproof: a covered porch or a workplace address keeps the packaging presentable.

Weather only matters for the shipped box. The same-day flowers on this page are carried in by a local florist and handed over, whatever the month.

Normals: NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information, 1991 to 2020, Rockford 3 ESE station, 16.5 miles from Eclectic. Heat: average high 85°F or more. Freezing: average low 32°F or less. Snow: 2 inches or more in the month. Wettest: the two months with the most rain.
