Campus deliveries in Stapleton

A basket ships by parcel to a street address, so it cannot go to a PO box, a graveside or a service. What it can do is reach a bedside, a resident's door, a campus mailroom or a hotel front desk, as long as the order names the person the way that place expects. Below, the kinds of places in and around Stapleton that boxes get sent to, how each one receives a parcel, and a local example laid out the way the label should read.

Colleges and campus mailrooms

Campus mailrooms hold parcels for pickup and notify the student, so a text to say a box is on the way helps. Exam weeks and move-in are the busy times; care packages go out two business days ahead.

When to ship what to Stapleton

Baskets travel by parcel and can wait on a step for an afternoon, so the month decides the contents. Thirty-year averages for Stapleton, month by month, with the ones that matter marked.

October in Stapleton: afternoons around 79°F, nights around 59°F. Nothing in the forecast averages argues against a doorstep delivery; any basket in the catalog travels well.

Heat (June, July, August and September). Afternoons average 85°F or more, peaking near 90°F in July. Send chocolate, cheese and fresh fruit to a workplace or a front desk in these months; baked goods, nuts, coffee, tea and spa baskets can take a doorstep drop.

Wettest months (July and June). Around 8.2 and 7.7 inches of rain on average. Boxes are sealed, not waterproof: a covered porch or a workplace address keeps the packaging presentable.

Weather only matters for the shipped box. The same-day flowers on this page are carried in by a local florist and handed over, whatever the month.

Normals: NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information, 1991 to 2020, Bay Minette station, 10.1 miles from Stapleton. Heat: average high 85°F or more. Freezing: average low 32°F or less. Snow: 2 inches or more in the month. Wettest: the two months with the most rain.
