A basket ships by parcel to a street address, so it cannot go to a PO box, a graveside or a service. What it can do is reach a bedside, a resident's door, a campus mailroom or a hotel front desk, as long as the order names the person the way that place expects. Below, the kinds of places in and around Piedmont that boxes get sent to, how each one receives a parcel, and a local example laid out the way the label should read.
Parcels go to the hospital's receiving desk or mailroom and are brought up by staff, so pick a delivery day that lands before the expected discharge. Baked goods, fruit and snack boxes suit a room; nothing that needs a fridge.

Reception signs for the box and staff bring it through, so a weekday delivery reaches the resident faster than a Saturday one. Soft baked goods, fruit and sugar-free boxes are the usual choice.

Reception signs. Most senders choose something the relatives keeping vigil can share: coffee, tea, cookies, fruit.

Campus mailrooms hold parcels for pickup and notify the student, so a text to say a box is on the way helps. Exam weeks and move-in are the busy times; care packages go out two business days ahead.

Baskets ship 2-day, sooner in some regions, and you pick the delivery day on the calendar at checkout. An order placed by 3:45 PM Eastern can arrive as soon as two days later; the calendar shows the exact days open for your recipient's ZIP code (94620).
Yes. Highland Hospital sits 2 miles out from Piedmont, and the box goes to its street address. Address the box to the patient's full name with the unit or room number and use the hospital's street address. Hospitals take parcels at a receiving desk or mailroom and staff bring them up, so pick a delivery day that lands before the expected discharge; a box that arrives after the patient has left sits in the mailroom until someone claims it.
Baskets travel by parcel and can wait on a step for an afternoon, so the month decides the contents. Thirty-year averages for Piedmont, month by month, with the ones that matter marked.
October in Piedmont: afternoons around 73°F, nights around 55°F. Nothing in the forecast averages argues against a doorstep delivery; any basket in the catalog travels well.
Wettest months (December and January). Around 4.7 and 4.4 inches of rain on average. Boxes are sealed, not waterproof: a covered porch or a workplace address keeps the packaging presentable.
Mild all year. Averages stay between 45°F and 75°F in Piedmont, so every basket in the catalog can go to a doorstep in any month.
Normals: NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information, 1991 to 2020, Oakland Museum station, 3.1 miles from Piedmont. Heat: average high 85°F or more. Freezing: average low 32°F or less. Snow: 2 inches or more in the month. Wettest: the two months with the most rain.
