Senior living & hotel deliveries in Saint Johns

A basket ships by parcel to a street address, so it cannot go to a PO box, a graveside or a service. What it can do is reach a bedside, a resident's door, a campus mailroom or a hotel front desk, as long as the order names the person the way that place expects. Below, the kinds of places in and around Saint Johns that boxes get sent to, how each one receives a parcel, and a local example laid out the way the label should read. For a service itself, the same-day flowers on this page go by hand through the local florist.

Senior living and nursing homes

Reception signs for the box and staff bring it through, so a weekday delivery reaches the resident faster than a Saturday one. Soft baked goods, fruit and sugar-free boxes are the usual choice.

October in Saint Johns: afternoons around 82°F, nights around 66°F. Nothing in the forecast averages argues against a doorstep delivery; any basket in the catalog travels well.

Heat (May, June, July, August and September). Afternoons average 85°F or more, peaking near 92°F in July. Send chocolate, cheese and fresh fruit to a workplace or a front desk in these months; baked goods, nuts, coffee, tea and spa baskets can take a doorstep drop.

Wettest months (June and August). Around 7.3 and 6.3 inches of rain on average. Boxes are sealed, not waterproof: a covered porch or a workplace address keeps the packaging presentable.

Weather only matters for the shipped box. The same-day flowers on this page are carried in by a local florist and handed over, whatever the month.

Normals: NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information, 1991 to 2020, Jacksonville Nas station, 11.8 miles from Saint Johns. Heat: average high 85°F or more. Freezing: average low 32°F or less. Snow: 2 inches or more in the month. Wettest: the two months with the most rain.
